What will you be most thankful for, this Thanksgiving?
I'll start. I will be thankful that my two cousin are moving to Florida in December and be within driving distance for holiday get togethers. So most of my family that gets along will be reunited again.

I will be most thankful for knowing my Savior Jesus, after that.....my daughter and her family just moved to Clermont! Just at the right time for me...my middle grandson will be within an hour's drive, much better than 12 hours to the St Louis area. I hope you all are planning and enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving Day.

I'm thankful that my grandson survived the car accident with no injuries and is back to being his stinkpot-4YO-self! And I'm thankful for my dearest friend in TV who has put up with a lot from me and gotten me through some hellish times lately.

I am looking forward to being with a friend and her husband who are coming to share Thanksgiving with us. Our other daughter and grandchildren couldn't make it this year.
My friend and I have known each other since the first grade and by now she feels very much like a relative. I hope I can pull it off to please her high Ohio standards.
I am thankful for so many things that there isn't room to type it.
I wish all of you good things on this Thanksgiving, a person who cares about you to share your meal and peace and health and comfort in the months and years ahead.

That is certainly good news about your two cousins moving to Florida.
It will definitely make family get togethers easier for everyone concerned.
So far we are both blessed with good health, for which I am most thankful.......as are our entire family.
The grandchildren are all thriving. They bring such joy to everyone's life......for that we are thankful.
Our clan will gather or celebrate the Thanksgiving season together at our home, perhaps for the last time in this house, and it is a wonderful blessing to give thanks for.
What would life be without friends? I am thankful for my friends who love me and stand by me. My husband being my best friend since 1962.
That's a bit of a record, for sure. We were lucky to have married our best friend...with similar natures, same goals in life. Where have the years gone?
Every day I remember the friends who have departed.......and miss them all. Wish we could see them again, if only for a day.......as well as our departed parents, grandparents and aunts/uncles who all enriched our lives in many ways. Where did the years go? Hold tight to those you love and who love you.
I am very thankful to have a home that is our sanctuary and a blessing.
A sturdy fortress against all the elements....rain, wind, snow, cold or heat.
I am thankful to still have my mind to plan ahead.......and my memories to think back upon. We pray that our home sells quickly so that we can soak up some of that Florida sunshine and ditch the D3 gummies.
Blessings to all the participants on this forum. As the moderator said, it is possible to disagree without being disagreeable.........what a job they have reading it all.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I am thankful that God has given me a wonderful life, loving family and caring friends. I pray that I will always have the ability to appreciate it, since that is what makes it so special.
Blessings to all here, on Talk of the Villages!

I must say I'm thankful for a lot. I'm thankful that I have a wonderful husband and we are both healthy, I'm thankful that my 86 year old mom is alive and well, I'm thankful for a beautiful one year old grand daughter and she is coming for a week at Christmas (nothing better than having a baby around for Christmas) and I'm thankful to live in this beautiful place that I now call home.
As for Thanksgiving, hubby and I will spend our Thanksgiving together. We have for years now spent it alone. I cook a turkey breast with all of the trimmings and we sit in front of the TV in our sweats and eat and watch a good movie. We call the whole family and chat and tell them we miss them all. It warms our hearts.

My grandson had a stroke when he was born one year ago. I have never been so scared in my life. He just turned one and is doing amazing. He is having therapy on his little left hand and responding with flying colors. We will have to see as he grows if anything comes up but the drs. feel that all will be fine. I am so thankful everyday and I will have a much happier thanksgiving this year.

Having a grandchild the same age as yours, I can only imagine your concern and worry.......but it is heartwarming to read just now that he is responding so well. It sounds very hopeful and he's young enough to bounce back.
Glad to hear the doctors all feel he will be fine. I wish the grandbaby continue good health......and best wishes to you.
You do have an awful lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, for sure.
Thanks for posting that. It should make us all cherish what we have and hold it close.
