View Full Version : If you feel a disturbance....
...in the force, know it is because I have disrupted an extremely delicate ecosystem.....damnation, I had to dust the furniture today....:1rotfl:
Just felt compelled to issue a warning.....:D

A friend I used to ride horses with, knowing my aversion to housework, sent me this poem years ago. I have it posted on my fridge.
Dust if you must, but wouldn't it be better
To paint a picture, or write a letter?
Bake a cake, or plant a seed;
Ponder the difference between want and need?
Dust if you must, but there's not much time,
With rivers to swim and mountains to climb;
Music to hear, and books to read;
Friends to cherish, and a life to lead.
Dust if you must, but the world's out there
With the sun in your eyes, and the wind in your hair;
Sunny all day, or a shower of rain,
This day will not come around again.
Dust if you must, but bear in mind,
Old age will come and it's not kind.
And when you go (and go you must),
You, yourself, will turn to dust.

My dust is still intact and it will be for a good long time. I refuse to be a polluter.

It doesn't help to dust. It'll just come back.

I blame my incidents of atmosphere disturbance squarely on visitors--the ones I invite on purpose to force me to clean.:throwtomatoes:

I just advise anyone that the dust is a scientific experiment, thus.....do not disturb

My dusting skills are such that I would not impact the eco system. :smiley:

It doesn't help to dust. It'll just come back.
A house becomes a home when you can write "I Love You" on the furniture.

Sorry but that is something that will never fall out of favor. We clean extensively once a week. I am by nature an orderly person. I cannot sit in a room until it looks as if no one ever used it. Somebody STOP ME!:D

That's kind of sad, Rubicon. I guess I can never invite you to my house.
