View Full Version : Floor Plans ??
I'm in process of buying a Courtyard villa near Spanish Springs. Does anyone know where I can get the actual floorplan of the "Baja" model?

A real estate site has info.
Go to WWW. lylesellsfla.com
Goto Villages info and then
the villages models, look up yours.
Hope this helps

Thanks Joe but it looks like they only list some of the models -- mine was not there. I'll just have to measure when I get down there.

You should be able to get floor plans and other drawings of the actual property you are buying from the Villages Offices which are located on the corner of the 466 and Morse Boulevard. They are on the same complex as the Sumter County Tax Collector and the Sheriff's Annex. We were able to get drawings for a friend's property from there.

The plans you get from Sumter County for no fee are really intended to be a site plan, not necessarily house plans. What they print for you does show all the dimensions, it's just that the paper they use is so small, they're tough to see. Maybe they can print the plan on larger paper?
The Villages Construction Office will provide you with a complete set of plans and specifications for your house, the same as they provide the builder and sub-contractors, but charge $500 for the service.
In my case, I asked my builder for a set during our walk-thru inspection and he gave me his from his truck.

I'll bet Southern Lifestyles has one. They need floor plans to help with decorating. When we went there she said ....oh we know the sizes of the rooms. And I believe it was them that had a computer set up where you can move the furniture.
Thanks to all -- some good ideas.
