Calling all the TOTV fun people! By popular demand, we will be doing Karaoke next Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Waterfront Inn. Limited seating and we can't reserve tables so we need to arrive around 5:00. Hope to see everyone there!

Sounds great to me. :) I checked the web site and they list a bar menu and the menu for the restaurant Amelia's that is there. Not sure when they have the karaoke but I am sure there will be food somewhere there. Thanks for setting this up.

Its really a great place for karaoke. I think you will be amazed at the quality of good singers there.

Suggestions, it is very very crowded, so I suggest if you want to get a table together to get there well before 5pm. Otherwise, it will be hard to get a seat. You may want to identify the TOTV table with some sort of a sign so that everyone will know where to meet.

They do have a bar menu and a special Amelia's menu. Food is very good.
But on Sunday afternoons they have a Southern Buffet in the Amelia's restaurant also. Not sure of the price, but very reasonable and the food is fantastic. You may want to take that so you don't have to wait for waiter service.

If you want to sing, there are books on the side of the DJ listed in various ways, you should put in a slip of paper to the DJ to get on the list. Sometimes there are 30+ singers, so you want to get a chance to sing before the night is up.

There also is lots of dancing inbetween singers, line dancing, slow dancing and sometimes shag or swing.

Have fun, its a great place... obviously I am a regular so if I go, I'll try to find you guys.

Roy sang this song and extremely well. Better than a lot of people that I have seen at the squares. IMHO

PammyJ sang a song and was excellent. I belive dougb, pammyj, and Roy started a band called Total Recall. Hopefully they will be playing in TV in the near future.

Steve sang a couple of songs that were Michael Bubble type songs. Again, an excellent singer.

TOTV had a table, and a good time was had by all. Thanks "dougb", for mentioning this event on TOTV. Hopefully, we can all do this again. :smiley:

Actually everyone sang, for we were singing along with many of the great songs! I saw you singing along Ellen! We had a great time. We stayed after everyone left for some great conversation! Can't wait till next month!

Roy and I had a great time last night. In fact TOTV table was the last to leave, long after the bartender and waitresses had left. Great music, singing and good friendship. By the way the band that Doug, Pam, Roy and Jim are in is called VINYL RECALL.

This was our third one. We have been doing it Once a month. Doug was wanting to put together something on November23rd. He is working on it now! Then again in December sometime. We will post, keep watching!

She sang Dancing Queen

We were there Sunday night. Rats! We wandered around from table to table, like lost puppies begging for attention. When we arrived around 5:15, we did notice a table with a bunch of people eating dinner. I figured it wasn't TOTV folk because I thought we were just meeting for drinks. We ended up having a drink at the bar and going to the Square for music and dinner on a patio.

Oh, Pam .... as we were leaving, Fireboy and I stopped by your table, so I could compliment you on the amazing job you did singing Dancing Queen!
