What is the average home owners insurance rates for residents in the Villages. Home value of approx. $350,000 to $400,000? Are big increases coming?

We just closed on August 10th on a gardenia designer home. We received 2 quotes one from the TV and one from the AAA office in TV. Same insurance company same benefits, exactly the same and AAA was 1$100 cheaper which was $850 a year. Once we purchase our golf cart we will add liability coverage which will be another $100 annually. They also rewrote our car insurance and we saved another $250 off what GEICO was covering us for..............

I was quoted 1300 plus for a block, and 1600 for a frame house at a value of 350K by State Farm. They also said that if you're a current State Farm customer, they'll write the new policy, if you're not, they would not. No new customers.
