How refreshing to see so many well behaved dogs at Sumter today at the car show.....So many different breeds...some walking very politely and some older ones in strollers. So many merchants had dog bowls with water out. I never heard a bark or a scuffle....a few dogs greeting each other. The weather was absolutely perfect. Next time I'll remember to bring my puppy dog to this event. It was a very busy event, but not overly crowded, so it was very enjoyable.

We were there had a great time. Everyone (both people and pups well behaved) seemed to be enjoying the day. We had breakfast and just kind of hung out. I must brag a bit though, mine was the best dressed.

I just love all those Doodle dogs.

Nice to see a positive dog post, but get ready 'cause you're going to get an earful on how the square is no place for dogs! Hope I'm wrong.

I love seeing so many well-behaved dogs at the squares. Saw a few last night as well at Paddock Square. However, I would never bring my two schnauzers there, I know they would be disruptive and probably bark at other dogs, so home they stay... I'm not a very good trainer and I know it, lol.

Good to hear about the well behaved dogs. There are usually very well trained and very much loved dogs all over the Villages.

Dogs also help with monitoring the emotions of people around you and can warn of any hidden animosity someone might have towards you. They can catch moles of all kinds as well as voles! They are good for Gophers too! Not so good for trolls, however. Well, maybe, if you dog starts growling while you are reading a message on the computer, you may be getting a little too angry from what you are looking at on the computer.

I think this guy was the best behaved one there. That's not even his own poop.
