The Villages, FL - A tragic accident has resulted in a life altering event for Kip the dog (renamed Sparky after the incident). When installing the invisible fence, workers had inadvertently wired the system to the 220 volt service line instead of the usual 110 volt service for which the fence was designed. Kip…er….rather…Sparky, was really enjoying the invisible fence experience that first day until and Egret flew down to check out the lizard population in Sparky’s yard. Sparky would have none of that and chased after the Egret which, of course, took immediate flight. Sparky, in hot pursuit, over ran the fence boundary and was immediately zapped. The ensuing intense shock rendered Sparky unconscious for a few seconds but he quickly recovered though dazed and confused (a condition to which the author of this article is accustomed). Except for his appearance, things appear to be relatively ok for Sparky but his owner reports that when Sparky is in the house when the microwave is being used, he has a piddle accident and seems to forget his name for a day or two. He’s also developed a phobia of Egrets. Other than that, as you can see he’s just fine.

I didn't notice how similar they were now that you mention it...hmmm. Perhaps that's Freudian in a weird kind of way.

Patty.. geez....coming from my own spiffy spouse.....allow me to remind you that it was you who chose to marry a gear-headed geek....and I'm sooo glad you said yes. I know that you appreciate my nuttiness. We'll work out an appropriate gesture of contrition later.

JohnZ .. You light up my life .. :#1: Thanks for the humour, especially the part about the microwave. Sparky isn't the only one who had a piddle accident, I almost had one laughing. You are so FUNNY!!!
