As you might know, we are holding a big party to celebrate the Beatles first appearance o the Ed Sullivan show on Feb 9, 1964.
Our event will be at the Lake Miona Rec Center on Feb 9, 2014. After a Liverpool style dinner, you will get to listen to a classmate and close friend of John Lennon's talk about what it was like in the early days of Beatlemania.
Then at precisely 8:00 PM, 50 years to the minute, we will show the Ed Sullivan Show in it's entirety, in glorious black and white with all of the vintage commercials.
After the show, a group of the Beatlemaniacs of the Village best musicians will perform Beatles music for the next hour or so.

We are over half sold out for this once in a life time event. So if your interested, get you ticket order in soon.

To get tickets, got to our web site, BeatleManiacsRock.com and download an order form.

Oh....too bad I won't be in town for this. It sounds like fun.

Where were you when you first saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan? I was in college...living in our sorority house...and we were all hovered around a little black and white console TV set.

Years later, I saw them in living color....the real deal....when they appeared in Toronto.

If there are any retired Decca executives now living in The Villages - I am sure they'd love to attend.

Every year at their Christmas Party, they take out the audition tapes and get drunk.

They also drown their sorrows every January 1.
