I recently sold a large, very heavy, piece of furniture to someone who lives just north of The Villages. She has a truck but needs at least 2 strong people to remove the furniture from my house, load it on the truck, follow her to her home, unload, and move into her home. She has called many movers, but they all want lots of money for such a small job.
Does you know of anyone who could help out in this situation?. She really wants this furniture ASAP.
Any and all information will be greatly suggested.
Thanks!

I paid $100 for a moving company to move a wall unit to my home and felt it was well worth the money. I found their ad under services in the back of the classifieds in the Daily Sun.

Do you happen to remember the name of the moving company you used? If so, I would appreciate it and pass it along to the buyer.

The mover we used isn't listed in the paper today so I don't have their number. In the back of the daily sun there are several listed. One in particular says no move too small. Tri-county movers 352-208-5288. It says they do TVs, wall units, furniture, etc. There is also 2 brothers moving 352-793-8960. One room or house full. I can't vouch for either company as I haven't used them.
