Is there a post office in TV. I've been looking for the address but I can only find post offices near TV. Can anyone give me the address and phone number for the post office in TV? Thanks.

This is the main P.O. thru which villages mail is sorted/delivered. It can be reached by crossing 441/27 @ Avenida Central to Griffin and going straight down to the traffic light and making a right turn - complex will be on the right.

This P.O. is in the villages - on the historic side - behind the Shell gas station/convenience store and the mexican restaurant [on 441/27]. It can be reached by car or by golf cart using the golf cart bridge.

Thanks a lot for your help. I need the P.O. to hold my mail that will be forwarded before I close on my house.

You can put a hold on your mail at usps.com, very easy

the post office in oxford is close by, and also the one in wildwood; we use the one in fruitland park on a regular basis.
there is no post office in The Villages, because The Villages really do not exist. We are just part of the Lady Lake post office distribution area.

:agree: I had the hardest time finding a P.O when I first moved here. The above info is correct. If you need to have something shipped, they are some stores that will do the shipping at almost what the P.O. charges. I know one is in the colony plaza, near Publix. I am sure there are others. When riding around, keep your eyes pealed to find the closest one to you.

Good luck.

I also looked for a P.O. when I was there and was told that there is a mobile P.O. It visits the Sweet Bay parking lot in Lake Sumpter on certain Saturdays so I am guessing it goes to other areas.

The latest "Outgoing" mail pickup would be from the Lady Lake Post Office

We used the Lady Lake Post Office on Teague TRL for our PO Box. But we were never able to get anyone to answer the phone. So, we put a hold on mail at our old address (online) then when we moved here to a rental house, we went to the Post Office and opened a PO Box account. Went back online and took the hold off our mail and put in a forward mail and change of address to the PO Box. Then when we closed on our new house three months later, put in another change of address to our current home. It all worked out great.

When I needed a location, I looked on the internet for locations. Quite simple to do! Try USPS.gov!

Went by SweetBay (LSL) today just after noon. The USPS mobile office (truck) was there and doing a brisk business. Not sure what the hours on Saturday are..perhaps someone does know and can provide.

Not sure about the hours. I think around 10-2. However, I was at Sweetbay LSL last Saturday around noon and the truck wasn't there. It's been an ongoing issue with the truck sometimes not showing up for weeks at a time. I asked the folks at The Villages PO about this about a year ago and was told that only a couple of people were trained on the mobile operation. If one doesn't show up for work, the truck stays home.

I've never encountered a line at Wildwood or Oxford post offices.

You can do mail holds online. Works great and they will deliver all of the held mail on a date which you specify.
