Barefoot at last? Isn't a sign that you are mentally unbalanced is the denial that you are? Your rubric might work in that regard. I don't know but someone going around barefoot all the time might strike some as mentally unbalanced :joke:?

Seems like a Catch 22 to me in that if you say you are sane that makes you insane? If you say you are insane though, that makes you sane does not seem to follow with this Catch 22. You are a nut and you still are a nut no matter what you say?

Jurek: I'm with you .. both of these posts scare me too, and I wrote one of them! At least I seem to remember writing one of them, but then I've been having a few senior moments. Perhaps Taltarzac did it and used my picture. :dontknow:

I live about an hour north of Toronto (north of Stouffville, I doubt you've heard of that). In horse country.
It's going to be quite a change to be in TV six months a year ... but can hardly wait!! No snow, yay. ;D

Barefoot:
You are correct I have not heard of Stouffille. I lived about 6 hours further north in Kirkland Lake. Wonderful place to live but nowhere to work. I'm presently trying to talk my friends from TO and Niagara area to come and visit TV. They have no idea what they are missing.

"Why is it that at class reunions you feel younger than everyone else looks?"
(This is me, staying on topic.) :cop:

Jurek - Never been to Kirkland Lake, I hear it is wonderful but buggy. If you talk your friends into visiting TV,
I bet they'll want to buy. At first TV scared me a bit, it seemed very robotic. After a few short visits, we fell totally in love and now we can hardly wait for our first visit to the Villa we bought in May. Just wish we could live there full time instead of being Snowflakes. Yay, we'll be there Oct. 26!! ;D

I think the speaker here-- Laurel Thatcher Ulrich-- had another notion in mind? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurel_Thatcher_Ulrich

Went to BYU law school for about ten days back in 1982 as a non-Mormon on a merit scholarship. The women there did not seem all that well behaved. Maybe they were trying to make some history? Ms. Ulrich seems to stress the importance of ordinary people in making history.

Taltarzac -- I saw it on a display board at Tim Horton's (Canada most popular coffee shop). I also found it amusing. My last quote was from a fortune cookie, so you can see I don't have a lot of depth!! ;D

:agree: Thank you for the response. I have a BA in Philosophy and often find fortune cookies more relevant to everyday life than much of modern philosophy with a few exceptions. The "philosophy" :read: courses taught at the Lifelong Learning College  seem to have more to do with ordinary life than college philosophy classes.
