Currency Exchange Question

Hello All,

This is a question to the Canadian and British Snowbirds:

I have a few Canadian dollars and British pounds I need to exchange. My bank, Fairwinds Credit Union, does not, I was told, offer this service. Most banks will only offer to exchange currency to bank members. Any ideas where I might go?

Most airports have a currency exchange kiosk. The one at MCO is located right before the security area.

Thank you. I am sorry that I did not check your reply sooner; I was just at the Airport 2 weeks ago. I will have to plan ahead.

We go to AAA if we have foreign currency after a trip. This may just be in PA and don't know if they will do an exchange in all areas.

We got our foreign money at Bank of America and they told us they would buy back any bills - not coins - if we had leftovers. My wife made sure we did not have any left over!

I do not know if they do that for non-customers. Give them a call.
