I am just moving in to my home after spending quite a while doing some upgrades. I have passed a lot of my free time on this forum. I took the day off today and spent a lot of time on the forum and came to the conclusion that I will enjoy my life in The Villages a thousand times better without the pettiness of TOTV being part of it. Adios.

Thanks for sharing - just curious why you felt a need to share this information with everyone?

Wonder what brought the OP to open up with that comment.
As with television, there's always the on/off switch. With TOTV, there's a few more steps - so, simply don't log in.
Personally, I so enjoy and appreciate TOTV, for many years now. It was another factor that brought us to become TVrs next Feb. Just last week the Builder has our lot prepped and foundation almost ready for the first pour of concrete.
TOTV reinforced, for us, what a wonderful place TV can/will be. I certainly don't see the 'pettiness' OP brought up. Wonder who stepped on his toes? Or if simply got out of the wrong side this AM...
Oh, don't want to hijack this Thread - but we went to Eisenhower Center Saturday before checking our lot in Gilchrist. OMG, what an experience to view this great addition to TV. Some of the national television morning shows should televise their program from there one day - perhaps Veterans Day... The country should have a chance to see what the Developer and TVrs built for all of us. Thank you.

Please feel free to change your mind and come back somewhere down the line. Others have quit and come back before.

I find TOTV addictive. One never knows what one will find here. I have found significant helpful information on The Villages as well as experiences and choices applicable to over 55 issues in general from my "peers" on TOTV. Just ignore the blathering; treasure the nuggets of wisdom.
