I am up north but have my eye on a 32 inch flat screen(Black Friday Sale) for the master bedroom of a Colony Patio Villa.
I need the measurement of the space between the closet and the bathroom doors.
Facing the bathroom and closet, please measure the distance from the outside of the trim of the closet door to the outside of the trim of the bathroom door.
I want to see if a 32 inch flat screen will fit in the space without extending past the trim of the doors.
This is a strange request but I am hoping someone will help me.

We have a 27" in that location, but should have gone with a 32".
There is a wall power outlet directly between the bathroom and closet and we have our tv on a night stand there. However, when we arrive after Xmas we will be having a power outlet and cable outlet installed about 5 ft up on that wall for the TV and then will put a small shelf under the tv for the satellite box.

Hi neighbor in Swainwood Villas/Lynnhaven. I think we have a Colony (washer/dryer in garage) but we have a 22" in the master bedroom that sits between the closet door and bathroom door. I measured from door jamb to door jamb and felt safe with my decision. We plan on wall mounting it however this year but we turn on the timer for 30 minutes and fall asleep.

Sounds like the 32 inch flat screen I purchased last night will fit.
Thanks for the help.
TOTV is a great site to get help.

If your not planning on having an optical disc reader in the room, stash the satellite box behind the TV. They aren't pretty enough to look at if you don't have to ;)

I have a DISH satellite box that is pretty big, would it fit between the TV and the wall? Is there any kind of fitting I can get to be able to mount it behind the TV?

In bedrooms I usually hang them high enough so you can view them from the bed and put them on a tilt mount. You don't need to mount the satellite box, just put it behind the TV and it will rest on the bracket.

Ok, I see what you mean. I just looked at our rec room TV that is wall mounted and see that there is a sizeable gap behind the TV which get bigger as the TV is tilted downwards. If I can get a similar sized wall mount, the box will fit in there easily.

Great, if the satellite box remote control is infrared and not radio frequency, just place the front of the box facing up toward the ceiling. The IR will bounce around and 9-10 times it's works perfectly. If not I have a remote repeater that will work for ya.

Thanks. We will be in TV after Christmas and I can figure out then what will be needed.
