I'm thinking the Red Sox from the American League and the Mets from the National League with Boston winning it all in 6 games

Watch the Colorado Rockies! Of course, they only have three teams in front of them ------ but if the pitching holds up, they could make a run. Then we'll have to cancel our reservations for October in The Villages and stay in CO to attend the series. Tough decision :dontknow:
Go Rockies!

I'm not a west coast fan at all, but... Arizona and LA Angels, with the Angels winning.
I'd prefer to see Boston and Cubbies.... LOL with the Cubs winning

Being TV's ultimate Red Sox fan, I was :beer3: "partying like a rock star" :beer3:last night after they won the pennet. Now on to the AL championship series and pray. World Series? Hope so.

A view from the desert:
Well, with all due respect for hometown hopes and dreams, the Yankees will go from wildcard entry to World Champions again. It should not go unnoticed that at one point they were 14 and a half games back but were kept from another pennant by the prayers offered up by the Archdiocese of Boston at recent Mass services. But the good people of New England (and they ARE good people) have used their "get out of purgatory" card and no more prayers will be answered this season. The Bronx Bombers had the BEST record in all of baseball (73-39) following that terrible start. It's 13 seasons in a row for this team in the post-season and, in my humble opinion, cannot be written off. Yes, folks, it'll be another NY-Arizona World Series but this time they'll be a different outcome.

kennyb,
I, along with many baseball fans across the good ol' US of A, would be thrilled to see the Cubbies take the whole enchilada. It would be great for the city and for die-hard fans who have waited way too long. It would be super to see a Cubs-Yankees series.....and the television advertising department would just love it! Good luck to your team but ...
And DickY is correct that the Phillies may be reaching their crescendo.
p.s. - currently watching the Padres-Rockies tiebreaker game. Having lived in the Denver area for almost 20 years you can bet for whom I cheering as is Darbyduff, I'm sure.

I see only two Yankee fans here. One more than I see on the golf courses when they see my Yankees license tag.
Yankees and Cubs. Steve grabs another one and the Yankees win the series!!
Go Yankees!!!!
