Moffit Center, Tampa

We are thinking of moving to the Villages and we are wondering if anyone has had any experience with the LRMC or the Moffit Center as I am presently under the care of a major hospital in Boston and my concern is the treatment quality in your area.

Yes, I have been a patient at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa since 2003. It is just a wonderful place. Please email me privately if you want more info. Currently I drive down there about every three months. It takes me about 1 1/4 hours to get there when traffic is good. I try not to travel early morning or late afternoon.

The folks there tell me they have quite a few patients from The Villages.

Fabulous treatment. Husband just finished his last chemo treatment and in full remission. The Moffitt Center worked hand in hand with the Moffitt center here in TV.

Hi, I to am from Ma. And I am use to great medical care, as a newly Dx. Cancer pt. I am very pleased with everything I have heard and read on the center. The Moffitt Center is listed 18 in this country out of 800 centers.I'd say that's pretty darn good. To date I'm dealing with the nurse navigator, Beth Jernigan R. N. , M.S.N., O C N. Really nice lady. Hope allgoeswell for you !!
