I am coming down for Thanksgiving, and expect to be driving my motorhome and leaving it there, if I can find a place to keep it.

I've seen 3 different storage areas and I'd like to contact them ahead of time but don't know names or numbers and Google gave me way too many hits on "lady lake FL motorhome storage".

There's one near 301 & 466, another on Rolling Acres Rd (between 466 and 441 near the woodshop and the third in a campground at the intersection of 466 and Rolling Acres Rd.

Can anyone name any of them? Do you know of another place to store one?

Appreciate the help!

steve, no problem I can handle it for you, just leave it in front of my house with the keys in it and a full tank of gas, by the way do you want it back?

If that doesn't work I think the one on 466 just east of 301 is Village Self Storage, 352-748-2912. If you want more try the yellow pages listed on Yahoo home page.

Steve, I see golfnut gave you the phone number for Village Self Storage. Their address is 4150 East CR 466.
Oxford, FL 34484. Phone 352-748-2912, Fax 352-748-2882

We moved here in Feb. and stored our RV there for a few months. We signed up for an opening in The Villages
storage area. (they have 2, but there is a waiting list) We also stored some things at Village Self Storage for awhile before and after
we moved in. Here is their web site: http://www.village-selfstorage.com

We closed on our old house Feb 1 and on our house in The Villages Feb 16. For those 2 weeks we stayed in our motor home at Recreation Plantation which is a nice RV park just outside The Villages.

Just this morning we went to a meeting of The Villages RV Club.

Glad to meet another RV'er.

We kept our 30 ft RV at Recreation Plantation on Rt466 for several months. Then space became available in the Villages RV/Boat storeage lot. We ultimately sold the RV because we stopped travelling once we moved here. Rental is about $40 a month and insurance cost and registration are high, higher than they were in Virginia.

After we soldours we decided to take a trip to NY to see family. Looked into prices for rental and they are horrible!!! Cancelled our plans as they were talking in the thousands for a two week rental. :edit: :'(
