I'm sick of the news media (all of them) that hype this stuff but they're not directly at fault. Want to see what interests most Americans....take a good look the weekly/daily reads available at the checkout lanes at the supermarkets. This trash sells.....and the mainstream buys it. Blame pop-culture.....maybe that's whats sickening most of all.

Oh....and add Donald Trump to the list above.

Though it has died down some now, it got on my nerves everyday hearing about Barry Bonds and when he would break Hammering Hank's record and should it count or not when he broke it. Now it will be the Patriots cheating scandal.

Speaking about the rags sold in the checkout lanes, I remember one that had a headline that stated that a woman ate 10 large pizzas and exploded. I thought I'd never stop laughing.

Scratch and Dent Sale at business formerly advertising under name Appliance Direct in Fruitland Park. have they bought all of the time available on cable? At least she will be done in 3 days. Then we will see a return to non- stop political advertising. :barf:

Must have missed that one while in the check-out lane at Publix or Albertsons or Dollar General.

Where did the Asian man go? That seems to be the same woman from the Appliance Direct. They must pick these people on irritation quota. The Heads On school of advertising where you make your point through annoyance?

Wish some other golfer than Tiger Woods would start winning more tournaments. The man does have a great work ethic and is an extremely talented athlete, but it does get old after so many tournaments end up having Tiger Woods as the winner. Maybe, that is blasphemous in the Villages.

Good choice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_DiMarco

I have a tendency to always root for the underdog but that's hard to do with golf as they often do not make the cuts.

Anna Nicole Smith - she's been gone awhile, but the last few days she's back on the news! They might exhume her for something. ENOUGH ALREADY! Find some NEWS to report on!

Sick of hearing about dog poop issues in TV. Are there inconsiderate people living in TV? You bet. I see 'em on the road driving badly....I see 'em in restaurants....I see 'em at events....I see 'em everywhere......and not just in TV. Inconsiderate people do not rule the roost.....they are the minority....here in TV....and everywhere else. Most dog owners I see walking their critters do so with bag in hand. I've seen a few on rare occassions that don't have bag in hand even with their critters squatting and on these rare occassions, how many of us have taken the opportunity to voice our objections courteously? Consistent education may help.....but the truly inconsiderate are well....inconsiderate and will probably remain that way. Life is rough......roll with the punches or wear protective equipment and get over it.

You have the wolf by the ears, I believe, JohnZ on this issue. Seems to be one some people are very passionate about. Do the poo!
