Once again our Gracie opened her home for a wonderful and festive lunch for the ladies of TOTV. It was definitely fun to meet and greet and put faces to so many of the screennames on TOTV
I personally had a great time! It was so good to take time from the hustle and bustle of this season and get time to relax with old and new friends; not that any of us were old, of course. :a20:
Thanks again you sweet, sweet woman. When I grow up I want to be just like Gracie.
Happy Holidays to all of you.

It surely was a lovely brunch! Gracie, Helene, and Henry are gracious
hosts and they worked very hard putting on the brunch for everyone.
Gracie's home is beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was a great
time. I am so glad I got to go and meet and chat with some of the
ladies here on TOTV.

Ditto on everything they said! It was most kind and generous of Gracie, Helene and Sweetie to open their beautiful home to all of us. It was much fun putting faces with names. The food was great and Sweetie did a wonderful job making sure things were kept up in the kitchen, and Helene did a super job greeting each of us as we entered. I learned a lot about Gracie today......she is an inspiration to me. Thank you so much.

I'm so sorry I missed it. I was truly looking forward to attending and meeting some new folks and chatting with those I already knew.
Gracie, you are a truly wonderful lady. Be sure to take care of you.

Gracie's home is as beautiful as she and her family! I was honored to attend her luncheon today and meet fellow TOTV'ers. Her wonderful Christmas decorations inspired me to finish mine !!! We sure are lucky to have a Gracie in our lives.

Ok Gracie, when are you doing this again? I am disappointed that I was not quick enough to be counted among the lucky ones to attend. Happy and Blessed Christmas to all and Happy Holidays! :)

I agree with what everyone else has already said. I had another wonderful time with Gracie, Helene and Henry along with all the ladies who attended. Such a beautiful home, all wonderfully decorated finally got me in the mood. Thanks as always Gracie for being so generous to us all. I could never have dreamed a year ago as I was packing and dreading leaving my home that my life would be this enriched but it's all part of the wonderful life we have now in TV.

:agree: with everything that has be said about G,racie.
I tried to get invited, by asking Gracie if I dressed in drag, could I come to her party, but she wasn't buying it. :jester:
Very smart lady and a top notch human being as well.
Hugs,
Joe
BTW - Henry and Helene are top notch too!!! They have a lovely home with lots of love, in it.

I was so delighted and overwhelmed with the wonderful women who walked through our door yesterday.
I had asked the person in charge of weather to see to it that we could sit on the lanai so that every dear person would have a table in front of her chair, and that wish was granted....BUT it was hot and I didn't press the air conditioner on switch in time for it to be comfortable for our guests. I very much apologize to them for being a bit warm.
I absolutely got flustered and didn't remember everyone's name and I am so sorry that several of you didn't get a proper announcement at first. I was so delighted with each of you and the wonderful things you told me. I will keep these delightful secrets to myself but now I know in my heart that someone who has known what I always guessed has made me an even more positive and happy villager.
Each of you came laden with many wonderful goodies to share and then too many of you left without taking your goodies with you. I was so excited at your being there, that I didn't really taste the wonderful food, but I did sit down at the end and absolutely tasted the cake that Pammy brought, her mother's recipe. I want to marry her. I suppose Dougbee will object. And I am already married. WHAT cooks you are. What beautiful people.
We so missed our Missy Pie who was under the weather and our Redwitch who lost her furry friend of 12 years. I am so sorry for you Red for your sadness, and Krista, I hope you are better soon and will bring your mom and dad over while the tree is still up.
My hearers were not working extremely well, and I hope that I didn't miss too many things directed at me. I always feel so bad when people leave that I didn't spend as much time or any personal time with. I hope to remedy that the next time we are together.
My dear mother in law's name was Helen and I met another mother in law named Helen who came with her devoted daughter in law. They are such a special pair, that their love and respect for each other brought tears to my eyes.
There were too many good things to mention and another time at my house with not enough time with Trish Crocker and Mojoe and Salybow.
I have an awful love hate relationship with gifts. I love to give them and feel so overwhelmed when I get them. Some beautiful wrapped items were left behind and although Helene looked longingly at them, I convinced her to put them under the tree. I don't know why you did it, but how can I thank you for your kindness?
I will try to thank you later when we open them. I so love looking at wrapped packages under the tree.
Don't ever do it again. Thank you for doing it.
I don't think anyone could be happier than us. I even didn't get too ruffled when Ohio State lost to Michigan. BECAUSE I know some wonderful stuff about a family from Michigan from the horses mouth, so to speak.
I am so very much blessed. Thank you all dear people. You know where we live, come back often and unexpectedly.
Merry Christmas to all.
Hugs and love,
Gracie, Helene and Henry.
OH P.S. The prize for coming the greatest distance goes to Quirky, who drove all the way from Jacksonville. Her avatar picture shows a beautiful lady. In real life she is EVEN more beautiful and her smile and warmth are so genuine and she is just a treasure to meet in person. I love you Quirky. I THINK I called you CQuick who was also here and I think I called Connie, Cathy. I am so sorry. I know WHO you are in my heart.

In my life I have never experienced the magic that I feel when I am in TV. I am only here a few days a week, but my husband and I survive all week long at work just so we can come home on weekends!
I think that the wonderful ladies I met and talked with yesterday all agree that Gracie is inspirational to all of us! The magic of TV was evident yesterday as this wonderful family invited us into their home and validated each and every one of us as someone special!
My heart is full this AM as I write this post! I am not sure what it is, but this is definitely a special place with great people! Gracie, Helene and Henry, thank you for making that magic happen yesterday!

Thank you Gracie, Helene and Henry for having us in your home. A beautiful home filled with love and happiness. The food you prepared and all the food prepared by the ladies of TOTV was scrumptious. I look forward to seeing you all again! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and my wish for all my TOTV friends a happy, healthy New Year!

Absolutely amazing to me that she would invite me into her home simply because I replied. What a nice time this was...lovely home, fabulous brunch, and I even got a sneak peek at the kitties, thanks to Sweetie!! What cuties they were!! Thank you, Gracie, and I will post a picture soon... :)

All the other lucky attendees at Gracie's elegant Christmas party, have said it all. I can only add "ditto" and a big "thank you" to Gracie, Helene and Henry - the perfect hosts. Pictured here, Gracie, and a lovely lady who grew up in the "real" Brownwood.

Thank you so much Gracie, Helena and Henry for again opening up your hearts and home to so many of us. The company, conversation and food were wonderful and the surroundings delightful. Your miniature village and gorgeous tree were highlights in a beautifully decorated home. I especially appreciate that you were able to host this gathering before I have to head back to the cold Canadian winter ahead. The warmth I felt yesterday will be remembered over the next 3 months until I can get back to TV in March. Merry Christmas and All the Best for a grand 2014 to our TOTV "family". and a special hug to you ,Gracie, Helena and Henry.. You are truly special people.
Love,

There is not much to say since all has been said in the prior posts. This is the first time I met Gracie but truly hope it will only be the beginning of a wonderful friendship. The party was spectacular and truly put me in the holiday mood. The food was amazing and the ladies all were so lovely. There should be more "Gracie's" in the world it would be a better place. In just a few hours of spending time at her home I knew how special of a person she is.

I have never met Gracie, hope I have the opportunity sometime when I am done there. I can tell by all of her posts on TOTV that she is a wonderful person. I also love the fact that she mentioned that it was hot enough to put the AC on, since we are very cold up here. 9 more days until we head down, but who's counting.

I was thrilled to meet gracie, and so many more lovely ladies. They all bring out the best in each other. And gracie's home is a jaw-dropping "wowser", as she would say. Decorated delightfully. When you meet gracie, you see that she is even more caring and sweet in person. Thanks so much for that special occasion. P.s. I will post pictures later today.

It sounds like you all had a wonderful time, and Gracie, you are so kind to open up your home to others. You must have a beautiful home, and I know you have a warm, kind and welcoming heart!
We just moved in last Saturday, and I haven't had the chance to meet many people yet, since we have been so busy settling in. I really hope to get to know many of the friendly people on TOTV. I will keep my eye out for the next get together. I feel like I know many of you already, just from reading your posts.

Although I am not yet in TV, I can tell you that I have been the recipient of Gracie's warm heart and I can not wait to get to attend one of these wonderful get-togethers. I can almost imagine how much fun it was and feel the cozy conversations, see Gracie's lovely home and taste all the delicious food. So very glad everyone had such a great time! How could it all be anything but magical with Gracie behind it?

I have commissioned a sculptor to do Gracie's statue. It will stand in the square, but I'm not sure which one.

Gracie, thank you so much for hosting a wonderful brunch. Your home is beautiful, but doesn't come close to the happiness and love that exudes from within.
