Someone asked me if VillagesPl is a guy or girl and I said, I am pretty sure he is a guy and a vegetarian. Many people, I think confuse him with VillagesFl who is a girl, not a vegetarian and an ex beauty queen.

I have recently confused in my mind two posters named Don, one a DonB with numbers after his name, and the other a DonH with numbers after his name. Those two are very dissimilar in their views and I thought they were one and the same. One is Bailey's dad, married to Bailey's mom, and the other is NOT.

I have responded to PM's from one thinking they were the other.

I hope I haven't honked anyone off too badly.

It is so hard to keep track of everyone's name, gender, attitude or lack of it,..character or lack of it, sense of humor or lack of it. I like folks who have an avatar, but that didn't help me obviously with the two Dons.

I was REALLY confused.

Do any of the rest of you have trouble keeping people straight on this forum?

Hi Lou, Nice ride!:coolsmiley:

I don't understand. OH....I think you mean people who disappear and reappear with another name?

NO. Even names like Quirky and CQuick I file in the same place in my mind under Q,

but I KNOW both of them.

I am not making sense.

But I don't often, I know.

Hey there, Villages Pl. Please tell Quirky your gender.

No, Gracie, you guessed wrong.

I posted a picture of me and my motorcycle. That was the rice ride. Thanks for reminding people of my criminal record. I deleted the pic before the late night folks start coming on line.

LOU....I didn't mean to put you down. The old owners of this forum and some posters didn't CLICK. And so they disappeared.

And blessedly reappeared with new names. Some folks keep getting kicked for nastiness.

OH DEAR.

Hey Gracie. No worries. I've been out and about this AM. You have never said or done anything to offend me. I sent you a pm. Sorry I missed you saturday when I picked up my other half. Have a great day.

I am horrible with names (and maybe faces too, lol) so it takes me quite a while to get used to what names goes with which person/personality. I 'feel' like VillagesPL is a man. If he's not, Ill eat my own dog biscuits! They are organic, but now is his/her chance to make me do it :o)

I don't think I've mistaken one poster for another but I wanted to reply to your post because I am stealing this expression from you and intend to use it on a regular basis:

I hope I haven't honked anyone off too badly.

Thank you, Gracie, in advance of your permission, and I hope I haven't honked you off due to this brazen theft.

You and JustJim are both so charming that I get you two mixed up sometimes.

I think VPL is a man as he has referred to a lady friend when he talked about dining out. Just my guess.

Hi quirky3,

I'm a MAN!!!!!! No, wait, I'm a WOMAN!!!! Oh, gosh, now you guys got me all confused!!! ;)

I should be a woman because women get treated with more respect. Notice that women never attack other women on these boards. NEVER!!!! And men almost never attack women. (ALMOST NEVER). But men frequently attack other men and women sometimes attack men. So it's open season on men. That settles it, I'm a woman? ;)

How do you know I'm not a lesbian? :-)

Most lesbian couples I know, call their "lady friend" my partner, while most fellows who are seniors, often use the term "lady friend" when referring to their female companion , so I took a guess......but then you knew that!

Villages PL is a male who likes to get in touch with his feminine side occasionally.

I am Rubicon, I have always been Rubicon and I will remain Rubicon. I am still looking for the guy that used my name in vain in village.com and intentionally took an opposite point of view than mine.

I pretty much in the moment meaning that whatever someone says good or bad almost immediately becomes the distant past providing me an opportunity to remain my objectivity on the issue at hand. Its either that or I am getting very forgetful......What was I saying

Gracie just loves you.

In a way that would be o.k. with your dear wife.
