My favorite line needs a little set up. In FUNNY FARM with Chevy Chase, Chase tries to acclimate himself to the new townfolk by filling in in a fishing contest...promptly hooking one of his partners in the neck with the fishing hook. In an attempt to remove the hook Chase punches the hooked man to try and knock him out. This causes one of the other men to say, (my favorite line) "You're not knocking him out, you're just beating the sh*t out of him!"
Don't know why I liked it, but it made me laugh so hard I almost lost it and I'm not into slapstick or a Stooges kinda gal. Love this movie.

In WWII Major Dick Winters of the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles) is walking into Bastogne just before the Battle of the Bulge begins. An infantryman, walking out, tells him he shouldn't enter the town because it is about to be surrounded by the Germans. Major Winters replies,

"We're Airborne. We're supposed to be surrounded."

The Cowboys??? Exceptional John Wayne movie. A bit of trivia was that while casting the movie, they needed a 'heavy' to go up against John Wayne (without spoiling the movie). The actor, Bruce Dern volunteered for the part. Great western.
