Since everything is so tightly controlled in NK one has to wonder why this specific bit of news was released. It could have happened and never ever been known by anybody else in the world like much of what they do and don't tell anybody about.
Why let the world know this apparent wacko leader had a member of his family killed? Confirm wackoness?

And you don't think the same thing happens in EVERY other country? There are lots of secrets...even here.

Not simply a family member.....head of the military, pretty much always at his side when seen in public.
It is a big deal, but what message he is sending ???

I believe we have it wrong here in America what we need to know is held back and what our world enemies should not know is available everywhere.
The NSA is being criticized and dramatically reorganized yet people freely give their most private/personal information away over Google Facebook Twitter.
As to Kim's uncle there is termination and then there is TERMINATION.

Really interesting take. I haven't read much about it (shame on me). Obviously it is disturbing on many levels. But you raise a most interesting question. Why was this let out?
