I sure would like to see a new traffic light installed at Del Mar Dr and Avenida Central, before some one get's hurt trying cross over Avenida Central ,or turning into Avenida with a Golf kart
With more snow bird's returning Traffic will be heavy

Or, hire someone to direct traffic in the really busy periods. I have not seen one of these traffic cops doing there business that often in TV.

I AGREE WE DO NEED ATRAFFIC LIGHT AT THAT INTERSECTION IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS
ESPECIALLY WHEN PEPOLE ARE COMINNG BACK FROM HAPPY HOUR WHO AT THE VILLAGES WOULD HANDLE THIS

Go to St. Timothy's on Sunday and you will see traffic cops doing their business. The streems of cars that come and go between 6 am and Noon is amazing. I am guessing that some other churches also have traffic woes and use the cops to direct folks.

Don't expect to see anyone directing traffic on a regular Village street. Just isn't going to happen. I understand you can have a light installed by contacting state highways/transportation and citing danger of lack of light.

Letting golf carts cross the road there is a big MISTAKE!!! :dontknow:

We cross there all the time and don't seem to have any problems. Maybe it is just the time of day. We seem to paint a picture of every one is a bad driver in the villages. We just have to be more aware and be prepared for the other guy to screw up. Don't take chances of crossing trying to zip in front of the cars. And if in a car, go the speed limit..and slow down at known intersections. Gee if all the people on TOTV did that that is 1/3 of the people in the Villages.
