Macular Degeneration

Does anyone know of a support group in TV for Macular Degeneration. My Dad is 86 and would benefit from knowing others who has his disability. Also, can anyone recommend a company or person who would be able to assist Dad with grocery shopping, transportation to doctors, an occasional light meal, etc?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. ;D

the low vision support group meets monthly at the savannah center.
there is also a vision learning center that many folks attend in leesburg. i believe they'll provide transportation to the villages. other agencies provide for fee home assistance. with a 3-4 hour a week minimum to assist with the things you mentioned in your post.
