Note on my door yesterday that a water meter changeover had been done. I noticed the notes weren't on all the villas. Anyone know what that's all about? I"m expecting my water usage to increase on paper but I won't be using anymore than I normally do.

Isn't there a number that you can call to find out why?

ours was replaced in May of this year. I was told by the office that they change them every 7 years (????).

I have had issues of accuracy vs useage for a couple of years running with the water company. Since the new meter potable water useage has been at or near an anticipated useage....I now have a case for my complaint and possible retroactive refund.....I am waiting until the year ends to pursue.

Are the changes being made to smart meters?

I know our previous meters were not smart meters.

Mine was switched because there was a cracked class cover on the meter. I think that they were getting false readings so they came back and checked it out and replaced it.
