Check with AAA.
I would stay away from those places that advertise on billboards on the interstate.

We just went to the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday. We are Florida residents, AAA members, and bought our tickets at AAA. No discounts for anything on a one day pass. AAA said Disney doesn't need to do discounts as they are selling tickets without any problem at full price.

If you are Florida residents, you can purchase a yearly pass. The least expensive is $229/year and includes unlimited visits to all four parks plus water parks. Parking is $15/day. There are restrictions on this pass: Monday-Friday only, no summers, and additional blackouts for Easter and Christmas breaks. We love it since we don't want to go on the blackout dates since that is when the crowds are the worst. We've gone three times already and visited multiple parks each time so have our money back. The kids are coming down at the end of February. I sent them the blackout dates so they could choose a time that works with our passes and will have the least crowds. The pass also has food and hotel discounts. Great for grandparents who might have multiple visitors who want to go to Disney. Unfortunately, this is only available to Florida residents and you will have to present your ID. The discount for rooms can be used for other people in your party. Have fun!

I kind of hate to be Scroogiequiest this time of year but that is going to cost you right around $700 for one day of waiting in lines.

Christmas week is the busiest time of the year at Disney World and you would be standing in lines far, far longer than you would probably care to do. You did not say how old the grandkids are but smaller ones certainly get unhappy real fast when they have to stand in long, long lines. The Happiest Place on Earth gets pretty noisy with crying children who are unhappy with standing in line.

If you are on a fixed income - most of us in The Villages are fixed income from pensions and Social Security - maybe you should reconsider going to Disney World. A single day ticket to the Magic Kingdom for anyone over 10 costs $95 or $89 for ages 3-9.

Only discounts I know of are the multi-day tickets from AAA.
