Signs went up for the proposed Trailwinds Village on Rt 466A between Buena Vista Blvd & Rt 462. The power company was setting a few poles along 466a yesterday. It will be assisted living, residential. commercial, park area and shopping.

According to the Wildwood city planner, the agenda for the Feb. 4, 2014 Wildwood Planning & Zoning Board will include the final improvement plan (plat) for Trailwinds Village. The approved plan then goes to the Wildwood City Commission for approval. It is anticipated that construction will begin in earnest during Spring 2014.

I'm assuming it won't be built by TV?

I don't think there will be golf cart access.

What is the size of this piece of property? Just curious ---anybody know.

Trailwinds Village is about 158 acres.

To be clear, it is one-half of the total pasture that you can see from 466A. It's western edge is a little east of the Tamarind Grove pool, and it extends eastward to Sand Hill golf course.

The other half of the total pasture, which extends westward to CR 462, probably won't begin to be developed until Trailwinds Village is well under way (according to the Wildwood city planner).
