Backyard Design ??

I just bought and my yard is 2/3 concrete and 1/3. I am learning that that little patch (15' X 20') is a maintenance nightmare -- cut, fertilize, pest control, sprinklers! I don't want to just have it concreted unless I have to. Any maintenace -free ideas? And anyone know a ballpark estimate for 300 sq. feet of concrete?

Are you in a Courtyard Villa? How about artificial turf (I would think having all cement will be a very hot choice).

Thanks Mickey. Yes I am in a CY Villa. But I don't think I can lay that astroturf on soil?
