Waste of money and could damage fiberglass ductwork which Villages contractors use as plenums & tee boxes.

We recently purchased a foreclosed home, which was neglected and dirty. We pulled out all the carpet and pad, casing a lot of dust and debris, and had all the existing tile chiseled out, again causing lots of dust and debris. Given the condition of the home when we bought it we would have had the ducts cleaned regardless, but after all the demo we felt it was particularly necessary. We had a local franchisee called "DUCTZ" do the job and were very pleased with their work. You could see if they have a franchise in your area. Another option is to check Angie's list. Good luck.

I'm interested in seeing everyone's responses to this too.

We used Sumter Air and Heat, also used them for a lanai unit. We were happy!

I used Sun-Kool. I had the ducts cleaned when I replaced my HVAC system. You cannot believe the amount of dust, etc in the ducts after 12 years!!!
