Does anyone know a good Arthritis Doctor either in TV or off campus? I have an eighty-five year old friend who is hurting bad!

I am curious just what an "arthritis doctor" can do that a regular doctor can't - I am referring to osteo not rheumatoid. My thinking is other that cortisone injections or joint replacement you are pretty much left with anti-inflammatory drugs. Please correct me if I am wrong.
