I was reminded of this by listening to the radio and by reading the Daily Sun. I went to Walmart thinking they would be all sold out, but they had a really good deal. They had a large display of 60w 8-packs for $3.44 Wow! So I bought four boxes. That's 32 bulbs for under $15.00, enough to last me to my 110th birthday.

I may be wrong, but I think 60w bulbs will still be available for a while. As I understand it, it's higher wattage bulbs that are finis today. Eventually, the lower wattage ones will bite the dust, too. Pls someone correct me if this is incorrect.

Unfortunately, I think you are incorrect.

As I understand it, the government has banned the US production of 60w and 40w bulbs. I think manufacturers produced a lot of these bulbs anticipating an "end" demand so if you want to buy these bulb sizes you can probably get a good deal for awhile until quantities become more scarce.

You will be able to buy 60 watt incandescent bulbs and lower watts until the store inventory is gone. I bought $65 worth of bulbs a few days ago and think I am set for life.

Of course there is climate change. Unfortunately, an inadequate school system has failed to teach our children about the cyclic "ice ages" that earth has gone through. The earth has heated and the earth has cooled several times without any intervention on the part of man.

Yes I like this reasoning very much.

I've see the PBS program where a archeologist is holding small fossil crustacean animals in the palm of her hand that she had just lifted from A DESERT!

It was right there for anyone to see! I'm sure biology students everywhere are asked to watch such programs.

That desert was an ocean and it might go back to one some day.

Man does not have the power to make this happen and never will.
