I was told there were about 10 police cars including unmarked cars

There has been a significant increase in the number of Sumter SD cars the past couple of days. I suspect part is a desire to catch the folks doing burglaries, part reflects the increase to Sumter SD of 10 new officers earmarked for The Villages. Wildwood has also added officers thanks to The Villages.

Nice to see our tax dollars at work (and Sumter's appreciation of same).
