Who are your favorite performers at the squares - the ones you try to see whenever they perform? Who are your least favorite?

Naturally, Rocky and the Rollers are #1 on my favorite list followed by Yesterdayz and#3 would probably The Bendys.

On the least favorite list, I would put Carol Ann as definitely the least favorite and Garrett Miles would be down there nudging Carol Ann for least favorite.

Petrina and the Randy Paul Duo are low middle listed while the Lenny Wilson Trio and Beautiful Bobby Blackman are very high middle listed.

favorites-Rocky,Cactus Jack,Doc Holliday,Bobby Blackmun,Lenny Wilson,Garret Miles-least favorites? I won't put anyone down so I won't name anybody-I have seen three groups at clubs and private parties that I think would be terrific at the Squares-they are Village Harmony,Oldies But Goodies, and Joe Baltzal and Remember When

Uncle Bob's Rock Shop is the only group we make a special trip to go see. We love when they say "If you're here for the line dancing, we're the wrong group." (or something like that:))

Ditto, in our 2-1/2 years here we have seen them probably 20 times. Just about everytime they are at LSL or the Paddock we are there and sometimes at Katie Belles. We fill in the remainder of the time with Yesterdayze, Cactus Jack, Dan Story Band, Rocky & the Rollers and Petrina. Any artist that has high energy and doesn't appear to be a carbon copy oldies band we'll try to check out. We caught Rick Malvern not too long ago, and even though R & B is not really my style I liked his energy and he had a good variety of music.

Uncle Bob's Rock Shop is the best of the bunch. The Dan Story band is also excellent. But, frankly, I'm getting tired of all of them. I'd like to see some new performers come in as long as they are not singers with pre recorded tracks behind them or DJs. Live music should be live music.
I'm also very tired of seeing five or six people in cowboy hats. Country music is OK, but it seems like there's just way too much of it.

Yesterdaze is our runaway favorite. Uncle bob's RS are great but seem to always be set up too loud at Katie Belles. Bobby Blackmon, Rocky - good dance groups. For listening I like Clark Barrios.
