I have a Courtyard Villa and looking for advice on anyone who is familiar with or had installed Hot Water on demand or Instant Hot Water system.
Apparently this is a ongoing problem with the Villas along with the water pressure. Any advice would be really helpful, Thank You

We have an Inskinkerator instant hot water system both in our house in New Jersey and one in our villa in TV. The one in TV is not used as often, but the one at home has been replaced at least 3 times in the past 10 years. Our understanding is that they only last about 3 years, but they are very convienent when they do work. They tend to "sputter" because of the bubbles the hot water produces. Otherwise (knock on wood) we haven't had any problems.

Question, if the system is installed on an outside wall how do they protect the pipes from freezing?

I treated myself to a new Cuisinart coffeemaker with hot water dispenser and I love it. Hot water always available for tea, hot chocolate, soup etc. Much cheaper than a sink hot water appliance and doesn't take up room under the sink.
