Default How much can I expect to pay in taxes on new home?

Can you please give me an idea approx. how much in taxes I can expect to pay on a new $450,000 home in The Villages

Plus don't forget to add the $500 bucks to keep the landscape updated which appears under special assessments. Also if you don't pay your bond in full that will show up on your taxes

The Villages are in three counties, Sumter you will pay more for just about everything, then there is Marion, and Lake county, The Villages Real Estate now days will steer you to sumter for obvious reasons. good luck, its a great place to live

If you figure 2% of the selling price that should cover Taxes, Bond and Maintance fee and
put some change in your pocket . . . good luck

Have a look at Lyles stat sheet.....Sumter is the lowest for property taxes.

The first tax year your property taxes will be lower as it is classified as residential vacant. It will be reclassified the next period and you will be paying more.
