Default Hud-1

Is anyone familiar with how long before closing you received the HUD-1 form?

We got it a few weeks before, but it was estimated. The final statement was available at closing. This was for a new home purchase. There was not much variation from estimate to final statement.

We close on a property in NC tomorrow and received HUD yesterday. We have a few closings a year and typically, we get the "rough" HUD 48 hours before to make corrections. 99% of the time there are no changes. In a case where there is a change, we get a new HUD as closing may be taking place. It has never been more than a $10.00 when changes take place.

With email and fax it's easier to do the HUD at the last minute.
