I have a 2006 Precedent, (electric) that I had all of the bushings replaced in the front and the steering is very tight. By that I mean no slop.
Even after doing this it still is very twitchy and follows road grooves by itself. It kinda darts left or right when you run over a groove going in the same direction as the cart.
I also had them set the toe.
They told me it is still doing it because I have turf tires on it.
Really???
What do I need to look at to fix this.

Darting is usually caused from a toe problem. You did say you have had parts replacements done, it is possible that the tires have scuffed tread from the worn parts before replacement. Rotate tires and see if that helps.

I rotated the tires and all is fine now. Just a very slight wander when I run it over a line or rut in the road but still drives hands of now.

Have the alignment checked again. If the front tires were that bad it may have thrown off who ever tried to align it depending on how they tried to align it. A club car precident is aligned differently than a club car D/S model.

OK, I have fixed that problem but now a second problem is showing up.
Not always, but often enough I lose power so when you step on the pedal it does nothing, (it is electric). It is like it was shut off and then it comes back on so far.
I noticed it first when I back up and then if I try to put it in forward and step on the pedal too soon it does nothing until I let it set a second. It then operates normal.
But now, this morning, it did it while operating at speed going forward. It went dead for a couple of seconds and then came back.
It has not left me on foot yet but I can feel it coming!

P.S. 2006 precedent with 08 batteries that were checked a month ago and checked out fine.

Your cart has a Curtis controller that is registering faults. Even if the fault comes and goes the unit stores them. I think you will find out that accelerator
Device called a M-cor is the problem. Most cart repair shops have the devise that reads the fault codes.

Reading the codes is $29.95 , if it is the MCOR replacement approx $250

If it is the MCOR, will the code always be there? Can it be the contacts or is it normally the MCOR? Would hate to spend that much and it not be the problem.

If it is the MCOR it will show up as a fault in accelerator on the Club car computer unit. It's not hit and miss.

I know the MCOR costs $160 dollars, but I didnt realize it was so expensive to install.

Where do you get one for this price? all I have seen are over $200.

I believe you are correct. I had the same problem and the controller never registered a fault. After many failed tries discovered it was the M-cor. I wish I had posted this problem on TOTV it would have saved me money and time.
