Its a good practice to change oil and filters once a year. Time is just as much concern distance when it comes to service of gas engines.

10k is strong miles for a one cyl engine, try to change oil at 5k.
Spray lube all boots rubber bushings on suspension parts. Load test battery, check wear on clutch belt and starter belt. Some clutches have fittings, clean battery terminals, check tires for ware patterns and possible alignment. Check and remove road grime on splashed electrical components, check for loose or worn parts, if applicable remove drums clean friction serfaces on shoes and drums, adjust brakes, balance air pressure, lube shift lever and check all lights. Of course plug, filters and oil |
