I have decided to get a battery minder but I have an electric cart so my question is do they work in an electric cart.

The battery minder is a low amp charger and desulfator. They are sold by the total volts of your carts battery pack , 36 or 48 volt units. They are used primarily when away for long time intervals but commonly used as well to keep sulfation of your battery plates to a minimum.
Good devise and easy to use.
