Default Club Car Squeaky Brakes

2008 Club Car electric -- what would cause the brakes to squeal? They don't do it all of the time.

Most likely your brake shoes are worn out and need replacement.

Hopefully they are not so bad that they have scored the drums.

Default 2007 Club Car Elect.

Is there a trick to removing the rear hubs? Mine will only come a small distance, then stop. I have disconnected the cable but do not see how to adj. the brakes outside the hub to release the hub.

Once the adjusters get corroded removing the drums can be a challenge and hard work.
Hammer and pry bars and patience is the only way.

Default Club Car Squeaky Brakes

Thanks for your reply. Had been doing as you suggested with little progress and thought I might have been overlooking something. Will continue.

Thanks
