Default Club Car Tail Light Out

Frank.

I have a 2008 club car. The R/R tail light does not work at all. No brake/tail or directional. Any Ideas? I tried removing it but there are no screws or bolts so I believe it's stuck on with glue or tape.

Thanks.

Default Precedent tail lights

They are put on with two sided tape. When you remove it and check for a possible loose connection ( ??? ) you will need to clean off the old tape install new tape. Most likely the LED is burnt out and you will need to buy a new fixture.

Club Car Precident carts have a 2 sided sticky tape to secure rear lights. I've had to pull one of my lights off for the same problem. I cleaned off the plug in the connection and made sure it was tight. Reapplied the light wth a small dab of silicone caulk. I've also seen some carts with a small sheet metal screw used to "wedge" the light to cart body......hope this helps

Thanks for the responses guys. I checked the light with a volt meter and it appears the entire assy is NG. I see a couple of resistors and a transistor so it's probably one of those that is bad. Most likely it's the transistor.

I ordered a new assy.

That's lucky for you. I checked the voltage before and after the plug and again on the printed circuit board behind the lens by separating the lens from the assy. so I'm not so lucky.
