Default 4 - 12V to 6 - 8V club car precedent conversion question

I purchased a club car conversion kit (p/n:AM1275201) for a 2006 Club Car Precedent and followed the directions verbatim. However, everything works except when I step on the accelerator pedal, the solenoid doesn't kick in. Could it be the OBC solenoid lockout circuit not letting the solenoid engage when I step on the accelerator pedal? If so, how do I correct it? Is there a trick to this conversion? Any help would be appreciated.

The only thing I can tell you is to follow all the steps very carefully and make sure you do not leave anything out.
We have found buy repeating the instructions over and over the kit works well.
Most likely you may have missed a step.
