Default Engine start delay

Is there something besides a solonoid when the accelerator is depresed?
I have replaced the solonoid, cleaned battery and wiring connections, and my Club Car still hesitates engine starting.

A delay on start on a club car is usually caused by the starter this is common. Also can be weak battery.
