Question Gas/electric

Closing on our place next Friday. I believe the best bet for me would be a gas since we would be using only a couple months to start. I'm some what handy and able to do the minor repairs. Any problems with leaving a gas cart sit for months without starting. I would put stabil in the tank. If buying used should a stay with a newer year or are the older one OK. What problems to look for in a used cart? Thank you

Default Used Gas Carts

When looking for a used gas cart here are a few things to look for.

1-Quick cold start shows good compression.

2- Note any smooking under load.

3-Listen for clutch noise.

4-Check steering wheel play.

5-If possible jack up front and check susspention for wear.

6-Check for uneven tire wear.

Cart storage, using the marine Stable enzyme will protect the fuel system.

Best to use a 12 volt battery maintainer for long periods of storage.

Ocational driving by a friend is the best thing you can ask for during the storage months.

Hope this helps!

Question Electric/gas

Would you recommend going with gas or electric. It's going to sit for 5-6 months. Does your business sell both new and used? thanks

Default Marine Stable

Marine Stable does not contain ethanol, it is for fighting the effects of ethanol
With an enzyme additive.
