Default Gas GC battery

Frank, I have a gas 2012 Yamaha.
I'm looking at replacement batteries.
I know it takes a group 24 size.
I'm finding a standard automotive type is (surprisingly) more expensive than a marine battery.
Can a marine battery be used?
Yamaha recommends CCA 400, which the marine battery provides.
This is the one I'm considering:
Duracell(R) Marine Battery - Group Size 24 - Sam's Club

Last questions:
How often should the battery be replaced?
What are the symptoms of a failing battery.
Will it leave me stranded?
I'm not having any problems now, and wonder if I could get another year or two before replacing.
Thanks

A gas golf car is doing well if you have a 2012 cart and this is your first battery. That will be above normal for battery life on a cart.
A cart has a motor generator wich is both starter and generator and in a normal day starts a cart 25 times a day and that is a lot to ask of a battery.
The marine battery you mention should work fine but we are not a fan of Duracell.
