Good deal, Welcome Frank,
How do I adjust my brakes on a Yamaha Drive? The cart is 3 years old (2009) and has more play in the brake pedal than when it was new. |

Hi, to adjust your Yahama brake pedal lift the floor panel behind the brake pedal and you will find the adjustment for the brake cable. With your hand depress the brake pedal and adjust until you have just slightly less then two inches of free play in the pedal.

Gas or electric is the question I receive the most all week long at our business. The answer lies in the type of use you expect from your golf cart and the type of person you are. Gas carts do have terrific range in the course of a day and the general complaints from people are the noise and smell. Electric on the other hand provides smooth, quiet and a no odor ride with limitations of from 30 to 45 miles on a days charge. The exception to the limitations of miles electric are the long rage electric carts with up to eight batteries. This option can supply range from 55 to 70 miles on a charge. I like long range electric carts and enjoy the quiet beauty of our Villages

Gas Cart
I have a 2011 Yamaha gas cart. They told me when I bought it to use Stabil gas treatment(marine formula) in each tankfull. This I have done. Someone told me to use premium gas as it has less smell. Do you recommend both of these?

Gas carts
The Stabil product is good advise and there is also a product called Star Tron that is an enzyme product that works well for the sediment from bio fuel additives in today's fuel. High test fuel should not be necessary with low compression engines such as golf carts.
