Default Golf cart mufflers?

I don't own a golf cart yet, and will most likely buy a gas cart at some point. I have played golf for 40+ years and am accustomed to the sound of a gas cart. But frankly I'm surprised that the carts in TV are just as loud as regular golf course rental carts (IMO). Do they make aftermarket mufflers for golf carts and if so, why aren't they popular in TV. Too expensive? I think an effective aftermarket muffler would be my first option to add to a cart. What am I missing??

Not much you can do with the noise of a gas cart.
