Questions for Frank7:

I have a Tomberlin LSV.
I only use it for golfing and running around the villages. I do not drive it on the main streets in the automobile traffic lanes. Only in the golf cart lanes on the streets, and multi-modal paths.
I have standard golf cart insurance for it.
It is not registered or licensed.

Q1: Do I legally need to register and license the cart because it is an LSV, since I only use it as a golf cart?

Q2: Do I legally need to have special LSV insurance rather than golf cart insurance, considering how I use the cart?

I have a Tomberlin as well. Bought used and it is not considered a LSV, has a sticker on the back end stated it was 'converted to 20mph'. No license, register etc, and standard insur as you.

If you have any quest on this recommend to call Sta-Rite at 352 326 3100, Frank Re, - they sell service Tomberlins.

BTW (shhh...) ours goes 26mph on flat paths - always need to watch the speedo.
