Default HELP! Problems with our golf cart

We bought an electric golf cart at The Villages Golf Cart store in Sumter Landing two days ago. We have problems with it holding a charge and they are new batteries. Tonight we barely limped home (without lights) from Sumter Landing to Tamarind Grove. Any suggestions??
Forgot to add that the batteries are new.

Default Charging problem

Check to see if the wall outlet for your charger is working. Also check the charger itself, have you been instructed about using the charger properly?
And of course call the seller for service, they are very good about warranty service.

Thanks for all your responses. We brought it in to them today and they are sending it to their shop to check it out. There is definitely something wrong with the batteries or the connections when it goes from completely charged to empty after 8 miles. It was when we turned on the lights that the sudden battery drain occurred. I hope it's an easy fix.
