Default USB Port

Is it possible to put a USB connector and/or a "plug" into a Yamaha gas cart.

Looking mostly for recharging and using cell phone.

Thank you.

There are adapters that plug into standard power supply recepticals, also known as cigarette lighter ports. The adapters convert the 12 nominal volt power into sub for phone chargers.

Thanks Frank.
That I understand but can one of these ports be put into a golf cart and how reasonable is it for you to do?

The 12 volt power supply can be installed in a gas cart for under $80.00.

How much of a drain would this put on a battery? I know that's probably hard to quantify but let's say your battery's are fully charged and your cell phone is dead. How many miles of range would you lose?

A telephone charger will hardly be noticed in a battery cart and a gas cart if running should be easily compensated by generator.
